Fechtschule Sankt Peter


Andrew Brew founded Stoccata in 1998 along with Stephen Hand, and in 2005 formed the Fechtschule Sankt Peter as a branch of the school dedicated to the study of the fighting arts of medieval Germany. The core curriculum is based on the system codified in the fourteenth century by Johannes Liechtenauer, and is drawn from commentaries on Liechtenauer's work dating from that and the following century.

Classes are held Monday nights from 7:30 pm at St. Swithun's Church Hall, Telegraph Road, Pymble.

Tuition Costs (per term)
$50.00 ($40.00 for students/unemployed)

Term Dates for 2010 are:
Summer Term01 Febuary - 29 March (nine-week term)
Autumn Term19 April - 28 June (eleven-week term)
Winter Term19 July - 20 September
Spring Term11 October - 13 December

In all terms, German Long Sword and Polish Sabre (Szabla ) will be taught by Andrew Brew and Chris Morgan
