Current classes are:
– British broadsword from George Silver’s Brief Instructions upon my Paradoxes of Defence- (1604), Joseph Swetnam’s The Schoole of the Noble and Worthy Science of Defence- (1617) and Zach Wylde’s The English Master of Defence-(1711)
Time
Monday 6:30-8:00
Classes are limited to 1.5hours by the venue due to Covid-19 safety.
Fees
An annual fee of $25 to cover insurance needs to be paid to Stoccata Central directly (If you attend multiple branches, you need only pay the membership fee once).
While classes are limited to 1.5hrs due to Covid guidelines, there is a flat $10 fee for all classes due on the night.
Location
Milton Hall 11 Frederick St Launceston *Entry through side door between City Baptist Church and Milton Hall.
Milton Hall is on Frederick Street between Charles and St. John Streets, facing Prince’s Square. There is plenty of parking on Frederick Street, on both sides.
There is also some free parking behind the church via a lane off St. John’s Street. There is wheelchair access from Frederick Street via the walkway between the church and hall.
